Join the Going Green project — a bi-national blended-learning initiative for EFL and CLIL classrooms.

How to Enroll

Thank you for your interest in the Going Green project. Teachers and schools from Germany and the United States can enroll via the project's Moodle e-learning platform. The preview courses on Moodle give you a first look at the e-classroom environment and the materials available.

To get started, create an account on the Moodle platform and explore the Preview e-classroom using the enrolment key: GG14classroom.

Participation Details

Who Can Join

The project is open to teachers and students of English and CLIL courses in Germany and the United States. Partner schools and classes are strongly encouraged to participate together.

Green Project Competition

Enrolled classes can take part in the green project competition, where students develop and present sustainability initiatives. The 2014 competition concluded in November 2014, with Goethe Gymnasium earning First Prize.

Moodle Platform

All course materials, forums, and project submissions are hosted on the Going Green Moodle platform. Once registered, teachers gain access to downloadable resources and collaborative tools.

After registration, teachers are encouraged to explore the Teacher Training section for guidance on implementing the Going Green materials. The pedagogical approach supports both intercultural exchange and local project integration, making it adaptable to packed curricula.
